Parents are children’s first teachers. At Children’s Cove, we believe that parental involvement is vital to the success of children in school and in life. We provide many opportunities for parents to be involved in school. Parents have come to share with our children about their work experience or even share their own recipe for the cookery classes. Together with the community, we strive to build an inclusive society.

WE UNDERSTAND YOU.

We are a local and parent-owned preschool who provides a holistic education for the heart, mind, and character of our children. As parents ourselves, we understand the value of an education that is worth the cost.

Helping Your Child Adjust to School

Transitioning to school life can be a significant change for your child. To make this transition as easy as possible we implement a system of daily routines that provide young children with a comforting level of predictability.
By providing routines, we help children build their ability to anticipate what will happen, which builds security and emotional stability. Understanding routines and transitions help to build a confident and competent learner.

Parent as Our Partners in Education

We believe that Parents have the best interest for their children. There are many ways Parents are involved in Children’s Cove programme delivery such as participating in their child’s weekly show and tell and bringing in material to support the teachers’ activities plan.
Parents-Teacher Conference are scheduled yearly to have a formal discussion on the child’s development and learning goals. On a daily basis, Parents are also welcomed to find more out about the school happenings with the teachers during drop-off and pick-up.

As a Mum sending my child to school, what I really care about before what he learns at school is feeling safe about sending him to school. Feeling safe putting my child in someone else’s care for a big part of his days. That’s exactly what the team at children’s cove has made me feel. So thankful to Teacher Adella, Teacher Jessica, Mi Lao Shi, Gong Lao Shi, and Ms Liza. You have all been AMAZING. Thank you.
