SCHOOL CULTURE

We believe Parents are children’s first teachers.

At Children’s Cove, we believe that parental involvement is vital to the success of children in school and in life. We provide many opportunities for parents to be involved in school. Parents have come to share with our children about their work experience or even share their own recipe for the cookery classes. Together with the community, we strive to build an inclusive society.

Helping Your Child Adjust to School

Transitioning to school life can be a big change for your child, so we use daily routines to provide comforting predictability. These routines help children anticipate what will happen, fostering security, emotional stability, and building confident, competent learners.

Parents as Our Partners in Education

We believe that Parents have the best interest for their children. There are many ways Parents are involved in Children’s Cove programme delivery such as participating in their child’s weekly show and tell and bringing in material to support the teachers’ activities plan.

Parents-Teacher Conference are scheduled yearly to have a formal discussion on the child’s development and learning goals. On a daily basis, Parents are also welcomed to find more out about the school happenings with the teachers during drop-off and pick-up.
